NEW TO MY BLOG?
I started my first blog in 2011. It documented an epic road trip my husband and I took after our 3 1/2 year stay in Alaska. (Yes, it was fa-fa-fa-freezing!)
Living in Alaska opened our eyes up to the great big world we live in. We lived pretty sheltered lives where we grew up in a small town in Texas, so Alaska was a bit of a culture shock. When we left, we definitely wanted to drive back to Texas and take a bit of a scenic route. Before we left, one of my co-workers said I should blog out about trip and it sounded like a pretty awesome idea!
Only if I had been turned on to blogging, sooner; I could have documented so many amazing Alaska moments. I can always go back and reminisce I suppose…
But welcome, welcome newbie!
I cannot tell you how thrilled I am you’re here! I figured I’d take you in my DeLorean and send us back in time, so you can see where it all began–before the cancer, before the kids, and eventually after the kids, when I went officially loco and post-cancer life.
My first blog post EVER (about our trip home from Alaska):
The post that made people laugh and cry:
The post that gets personal–like my vagina personal.
Yes, I said vagina.
